The terms "we", "us", "Company" and "betterbooqr" refers to betterbooqr.com and "you" refers to the individual person using services from betterbooqr.com. This website and its services is offered to you on the condition that you give your full acceptance without modifications to the terms, conditions and notices contained herein. All use of your account by you or use by us of the information related to your account as well as your reservations you book through us are subject to the terms, conditions and notices as stipulated below.
1. Extent of our Services
1.1. Intermediary Portal
Betterbooqr.com is an intermediary portal with the objective to facilitate the working process for business partners of betterbooqr. The site functions as a booking site for customers who, through business partners of betterbooqr, have purchased a unique voucher code to one or more of the hotels available for booking through betterbooqr.com/book.
The information that betterbooqr.com conveys is based on the information provided to us from the hotels and sales partners. The hotels have access to our back-end through which they hold the full responsibility that all given information is correct. Therefore, betterbooqr cannot be held liable for any flaws ad deficiencies born by the hotel, disconnections on the website, updates, or maintenance of the website.
2. Conditions for use of Unique Voucher Codes
A unique voucher code is applied to pre-paid hotel bookings and is valid for only the given hotel and number of nights as purchased through third party deal site.
All taxes, fees, charges, and surcharges are applicable to reservations made using unique voucher codes. These charges must be paid directly to the property/hotel and are your sole responsibility. Unique voucher codes are valid only when redeemed in accordance to all terms and conditions of the offer. Unique voucher codes cannot be returned for cash or its equivalent.
Vouchers will be deemed fully used once a qualifying reservation has been made and will not be returned or replaced and there will be no refund if a voucher is not redeemed within the rightful timeframe stipulated in the offer.
3. Changes or Cancellations
When you have purchased a unique voucher code through a business partner of betterbooqr and made your reservation on the specific hotel, you accept the existing cancellation policies as stipulated below. Any inquiry or complaint after a booking is made must be addressed directly to betterbooqr.
All bookings are final and cannot be modified nor cancelled without a 100% cancellation fee will be applied. It is possible to modify the name of the guests, so that the booked service(s) may be transferred to another guest.
Should you be prevented from making use of your stay/service due to special circumstances, then documentation may be issued to use for insurance purposes. It is up to the individual employee at betterbooqr.com to assess if the circumstances qualify as ‘special circumstances’ and to issue proper documentation in each case.
For a booking with a valid unique voucher code, all services as mentioned in the offer have been prepaid with exception to city taxes or any extras purchased during the stay and not mentioned in the offer. All surcharges must be settled directly to the hotel.
Betterbooqr intermediates hotel offers and therefore cannot be held liable for any punitive damages, special, direct or indirect loss or damages, loss of production, loss of profit, loss of revenue, (ii) incorrect information regarding information pertaining to the hotel (including prices, availability, and ranking) available on our website, (iii) the provided service or the hotel’s offered products, (iv) any (direct, indirect, conditioned or criminal), damages, loss or costs, inflicted or settled by you in accordance or relating to the use of, lacking access or delay of website, or (v) for (personal) injury, death, or other (direct, indirect, conditioned, or criminal (damages, losses or costs inflicted or settled by you regardless if it is due to (legal) actions, mistakes, breach, (severe) negligence, intentional negligence, omission, missing compliance of obligations, inaccurate presentation, breach of the law, or responsibility (full or partial), that can be attributed to the hotel (its employees, directors, agents, representatives or associated company), including (partial) annulments, over bookings, strikes, force majeure, or any other incident that is beyond the control of betterbooqr.
Any complaints during the stay must be presented to the hotel personnel immediately and thereafter informed to betterbooqr. In such case where you are not satisfied with the services provided during your stay, you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of the problem. Cf. article 6, Liability, betterbooqr cannot be held liable, neither by the customer nor by the business partner in any situation where the service promised does not correspond to the service provided.
8. Data Protection and Cookies
When making a booking through betterbooqr.com/book, you are asked to provide name, e-mail address, and address. We use your information for your reservations, reviews, marketing activities, and improvements of our services. We refer to ‘Privacy Policies’ for more details.
9. Modification of Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify the Terms and Conditions under which this website and its services are offered. You agree to accept and be bound by these Terms and Conditions that are in effect at the time of using the website and its services.
Betterbooqr.com’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Betterbooqr uses personal data for statistics and analysis to test and improve our services. We aggregate and anonymize data to the extent possible for these purposes. By aggregating data relating to statistics, we sort personal data according to different criteria, for example in order to derive general trends and patterns of our services.

How long we save your data depends on the purpose of saving them. We keep your personal data as long as it is necessary for accounting reasons and in accordance with applicable law or as long as we consider that it may be in your own interest according to travel history. According to your travel history, it is generally considered that it is in your interest that these are stored indefinitely so that you can always go back and see details of a completed stay. We can delete your data only after departure due to administrative and accounting processes.

By making a reservation or purchase of our services, you agree to the following: (i) we will send you a confirmation by email with your arrival date and general information about your stay and (ii) we will send you an email after your stay inviting you to fill out a guest review.
8. Categories of Information
The personal data that betterbooqr registers about you is common personal information. We process different personal data about you for various purposes. The categories of personal data we process are:
Identification information (such as name, email address, address, phone number). The purpose of processing your identification information relates to betterbooqr’s administration of your services and to get in touch with you when deemed necessary in relation to the delivery of your purchased service.
9. Sharing Personal Data with betterbooqr's Partners
Betterbooqr shares information with third parties in the communication about our services and when we need to confirm these. When we use third parties, we need to share your personal data with them. Our use of collaborators is to support our services, for example relating to the delivery of our offered services and the administration thereof.
